The vision of Turf Image is to provide geospatial consulting for clients using Geographic Information Systems & Global Positioning Systems. Our mission is to provide support for geospatial project development. The goal of Turf Image is to lower the cost of projects.

Our firm is known for providing cost effective Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Geographic Information Services (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) & data management.

Turf Image is an S corporation, formed by the State of California on March 14th, 2002, and has since experienced 9 successful and expansive years in existence. Our company is headquartered on the Monterey Peninsula on the Central Coast of California, with Southern California offices in Redondo Beach & Torrance.

Turf Image is a California SBA Certified Small Business 44628. Our Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S Number is 610949997. Turf Image holds a $2,000,000 general and professional business liability insurance policy and all other required employee insurance policies.

Team Profile

John J. Schweisinger

President - Oversees all geospatial projects. John has vast experience georeferencing and orthorectifying aerial and satellite imagery using remote sensing processes. He has conducted numerous field hours of GPS mapping for scientific research and GIS studies.

Michael F. Schweisinger

Vice President - Responsible for all IT, networking, & computer management. Mike oversees server clients accounts and administers client usernames and passwords. Currently Mike is undergoing Land Surveyor in Training Classes to become a Certified LS.

Robert Watson

Senior Digitizing Technician - Engineers all historic data digitizing and storage. Robert oversees scanning projects, reviewing of data, & raster catalogs for GIS geodatabases. He also works as a field project manager to control field teams.

China M. Buryn

Marketing Coordinator - Serves as the Marketing Coordinator and Corporate Secretary. China assists with client and data management and primarily serves as the proposal manager. Her expertise in corporate law makes her a valuable asset in all business.
