GPS Field Survey

The Global Positioning System is a satellite navigation system used for determining one's precise location anywhere on Earth. The system is an intermediate circular orbit satellite constellation of 24 satellites. Many refer to the system as the NAVSTAR GPS - Navigation Signal Timing and Ranging Global Positioning System. The more satellites used the higher the accuracy.

Our consulting team is known for providing cost effective Global Positioning Systems (GPS) data collection using Trimble GPS units and ESRI ArcPad applications.

We create our own applications by scripting each project with customized ArcPad Applets. By creating simple to use ArcPad applications with drop down boxes & menus data collection is easy.

Each project is slightly different and requires a separate data dictionary.

Data is post processed against base stations and added to map layouts to improve accuracy.

We can script your own ArcPad Applets or our team will collect GPS data for you. We also provided GPS Training Classes.

LiDAR (light detection and ranging) technology involves a scanning and ranging laser system that produces pinpoint accurate, high-resolution, topographic maps.
