GPS Field SurveyThe Global Positioning System is a satellite navigation system used for determining one's precise location anywhere on Earth. The system is an intermediate circular orbit satellite constellation of 24 satellites. Many refer to the system as the NAVSTAR GPS - Navigation Signal Timing and Ranging Global Positioning System. The more satellites used the higher the accuracy. Our consulting team is known for providing cost effective Global Positioning Systems (GPS) data collection using Trimble GPS units and ESRI ArcPad applications.

GIS CartographyA geographic information system (GIS) integrates hardware, software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. GIS allows us to view, understand, question, interpret, and visualize data in many ways that reveal relationships, patterns, and trends in the form of maps, globes, reports, and charts. We believe the geospatial market is in its growth and recognition stage and that we are uniquely positioned to successfully create, maintain, and provide GIS solutions to our clients.

Satellite Imagery and Aerial PhotographyThe basic unit used in remote sensing is the wavelength of reflectance which is measured in nanometers (nm). This kind of data collection normally makes use of the emitted or reflected electromagnetic radiation of the examined object in a certain frequency domain (infrared, visible light, microwaves). This is possible due to the fact that the examined objects reflect or emit radiation in different wavelengths and in different intensity according to their current condition. These levels emitted by different objects are commonly known as their "spectral signature". Turf Image has created a partnership with a variety of professionals to offer you the lowest costs for the best available geospatial data. Define your project area, send us a shapefile & we'll do the rest!!

LiDAR AcquisitionsLiDAR (light detection and ranging) technology involves a scanning and ranging laser system that produces pinpoint accurate, high-resolution, topographic maps. LiDAR has become an established method for collecting very dense and accurate elevation values. Collection of elevation data using lidar provides higher resolutions, better accuracies, and penetration in forested terrain. Data maybe be used to map buildings, power lines, vegetation, and bare earth elevation. As an outside sales force for the leading providers of LiDAR we are able to provide the lowest cost for the best available commercial data. Define your project area, send us a shapefile & we'll do the rest!!
